Examinations
According to an OHIP study, the average regular eye exam should take approx 26 min, and include over 20 diagnostic tests. Known for his comprehensive eye exams, Dr. Workman employs the latest technology in eye disease detection, and all adult eye exams include retinal imaging, which he evaluates with the patient.
Pink eye, embedded grit & retinal issues should be evaluated immediately by
Dr. Workman, and patients can usually be accommodated the same day.

We know how important it is for the little ones to be able to see clearly! As a father of young children, this is why Dr. Workman ensured kids' comfort (and ease for parents!) by providing a "Play Den" with toys, books and Leap Pads featuring educational games, and provides a full-scope eye exam specifically geared toward children. Kids do NOT need to know their alphabet in order to have an eye exam! If a parent notices a "lazy" eye (even from early childhood or as babies), please bring your little one in - the sooner it's treated, the better the results!
*Remember: Kids 19 & under are fully covered annually for eye exams!
Lasik/Cataract
Management
Ever wondered if you're a candidate for LASIK? A thorough eye exam with Dr. Workman - including pachometry (a test which determines corneal thickness) - will indicate whether or not you are a candidate. Dr. Workman prepares a detailed report for the Opthalmologist, and assists in arrangements with a reputable Laser Centre (such as TLC, Bochner or Herzig). Dr. Workman also conveniently provides follow-up care for 12 months!
